On Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, FileZilla stores its site configurations (including saved FTP/SFTP sites, credentials, and settings) in a hidden directory within your home folder.
Default Location:
The sites and configurations are stored in:
text
~/.config/filezilla/
The sitemanager.xml file in this directory contains all the saved site configurations (hostnames, usernames, passwords, etc.).
The recentservers.xml file stores recently connected servers.
Accessing the Files:
Open your file manager (e.g., Nemo).
Press Ctrl + H to show hidden folders.
Navigate to:
text
/home/your_username/.config/filezilla/
(Replace your_username with your actual username.)
Look for sitemanager.xml to view or edit saved sites.
Note:
If you want to back up your sites, copy the sitemanager.xml file.
If you reinstall FileZilla, restoring this file will bring back your saved sites.
