On LineageOS 23.2 how to hide microphone access in the status bar?

In LineageOS 23.2, the microphone access indicator in the status bar is part of the privacy features introduced to alert users when an app is using the microphone. As of now, there is no built-in setting to hide or disable this indicator directly from the user interface. The indicator is designed to be always visible when the microphone is in use, to ensure transparency and user awareness of app permissions.
However, if you are rooted, there are community discussions and modules (such as Magisk modules) that may allow you to hide status bar icons, including the microphone indicator. These methods require technical knowledge and may not be officially supported or recommended, as they can compromise the security and transparency features of LineageOS.
If you are not rooted, your best option is to check the LineageOS community forums or XDA Developers for any new methods or custom modules that might have been developed for this purpose.
